Store had no other customers yet it took a long time to be served. Prices higher than other local stores. Enquired about ordering an item and got told to come back another day.

This review is for the bedding and furniture area of the Geraldton store - went in there to buy an item in the bedding area. The price in store was $80 more expensive than the price from their online store. After we pointed this out, the sales person said she'd see what she could do on the price and offered a reduction that was still $25 more expensive than the online price. We told her we'd order it online and she got snarky and said "you do that" and that we'd still have to pay shipping ($15) - still cheaper than what she was offering. App. 15 minutes later we did "Click & Collect" and as it was in stock at the Geraldton store, no shipping charges were added. Funnily enough, our "Click & Collect" order had a problem so I suspect she did something to the order. We got on the website chat area for help and they said their system was still showing the item in stock and they didn't know what the issue was but would sort it out with the store. The next day, we got an email saying our order was ready to collect. It's this sort of thing that causes people to stop shopping in physical stores. Customer service is everything and if she'd just said she'd give it to us for the online price plus the shipping, then we would have bought it from her. Now she's missed out on the commission. This isn't the first time we've had issues in the furniture area so will not be buying from that part of the store again. We've had pretty good service from the electrical and computer areas at Geraldton.
