I have been passing through Geraldton regularly for nearly two years and if it is dinner time I usually come to Stingers. Their premium snapper (is it gold band?) is consistently excellent and perfectly cooked. It tastes like fish and chips used to when I was a kid 50 years ago. The people who run the shop are reserved, but I have found a smile and a friendly comment gets the same in return. I'm hoping they'll be open on 28th Dec :)
Fast, friendly service. Fresh fish with a nice crispy batter - just way too oily! Chips were average - thinking perhaps the oil wasn't hot enough. Have tasted better.
