Fair service here. Food not that great, lacking in taste. Some wait persons was great. But food did not stack up to the photo on the menu. Paid a bundle for a meal then had to go to maccas to feel I had eaten Rack of ribs tasted like it was boiled and sauce just poured over at the last minute $44 for that. Then a sirloin steak and mash for wife. The plate was 4times the size of the meal. Had to laugh. My wife had that. And my daughter had a decent meal. Total bill was 118$. Really a let down. Thank you Coffebean my waitresses you were really a great person. The waiter that took over from you disappeared like a gorilla in the mist. What a battle to find your bill to pay
At 4pm ordered rump steak, chicken bearnaise and nuggets for the kids to pick up at 5pm got there at 5pm and it was ready to go. There was not a single person in the restaurant so thought the meals would be great. I was wrong, everything was cold and disgusting they must have cooked it straight away at 4pm and had it sitting there for 40 minutes. Could barely eat it. Thank god I'm only passing through
Had a very good meal here with my family. Unfortunately the original steak I ordered was out of stock. However can't fault the service and what came out was delicious.
This was a pleasant experience. The waitress was polite, delicious steak which was perfectly cooked. Clean environment as well.
Kids salad = lettuce and cabbage - if you ask for something kids actually like - cherry tomatoes, bit of cucumber, maybe some carrot, they call it 'extra'. Seasonal veggies (also on the kids menu) = a choice of flavoured peas, or crumbed cauliflower or roasted potatoes. Used to be a nice little bowl of mixed steamed veg. Clearly these guys don't know what little kids eat. Husband ordered the same thing he has been ordering forever, didn't come with usual sauce. He asked for the sauce, was told that it never existed - we know what we have ordered in the past bud, maybe the new menu has you confused. I ordered the Thai beef salad, which was so fatty and gristly that I couldn't eat it. The girl was very apologetic, could clearly see that 90% of what was on my plate was fat. The manager told us to expect that. If that's the expected standard, I strongly advise avoiding their food. We used to get two sides with a meal, now only get one - but the price is the same. Staff response - it's the new menu/you should expect gristle in your meat/what you've been ordering forever has never existed. We had family visiting from Perth, and were so embarrassed by the service and quality of food that we won't eat there again. One less regular, rather large, family Hogs Breath - bet it's the new menu's fault.
