A trip on the Abrolhos will take your breathe away!!
My husband and I recently returned from a 5 day cruise on the Eco Abrolhos. We have never been on a cruise, and were not sure what to expect, but we really enjoyed it. Many of our fellow passengers were a bit older, but that didn't slow them down. We were able to snorkel the Batavia wreck, as well as several other really nice snorkel sites. Swimming with sea lions was a highlight. The fishing was quite fun, as was going out to pull the craypots in the morning. Food was excellent and in large quantities. The crew was great, Ray the chef was fabulous. We learned about the Batavia wreck prior to snorkeling the site and visiting the islands, which made it much more meaningful. The accomodations are more than adequate. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone interested in nature or the Batavia wreck.
We were extremely grateful to have 4 days on board the Eco Abrolhos recently. The Abrolhos Islands is an amazing place to be and there is none better than owner Jay Cox to show you the many amazing places that make up this magnificent place. Jay has grown up on and around the Abrolhos, knows the fantastic history well and is a great storyteller. (He also makes a great seafood chowder!) The crew were fantastic and the food was sublime! There's so much to see and do including fishing, snorkeling, swimming, exploring the bird and sea lion colonies, to name a few! Many thanks to Jay, Ray, Paul and the rest of the crew. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday!
