Absolute shambles of a place. Took our car here after it overheated as it was an RAC registered garage. The staff were so rude and treated us like we were stupid. They spent about 10 minutes looking at it and told us the work would cost $7000 to fix and because it's more than the car is worth we might as well scrap it. Mechanic didn't even bother coming to speak to us and instead laughed at us behind the wall. We took it the next day to Wayne Poletti Automotives who managed to completely fix the car for $100 and amazing service. Had we had followed the advice of Axis Autos, we would be without a car and without a hell of a lot of money. Don't bother wasting your time or money here!

Employed their services twice with no problems at all. Hourly rate ($95 - I think) is probably most reasonable in town. Others charge anything up to $145 per hour. Receptionist is knowledgeable and goes to great extent to source non-genuine parts if requested, which in some cases carry a warranty in excess of the genuine equivalent. Yeah... good team.
